The jungles of Venus conceal great treasures - and terrible power.
― In-game description

Venus is a planet in Destiny. During the Golden Age, Venus was colonized by humanity and considered a "paradise."[1] During this time, Venus was home to a human scientific research settlement that is now in ruins.[2][3]

Overview[]

Venus is the second planet in the Solar System and is covered in dense jungles. When the Traveler came Venus became a beautiful paradise. Now Venus is hostile and dangerous, with sulfuric gas venting from the ground and dangerous lightning storms constantly raging in the sky.

Venus is also being converted by the Vex into a Machine World, and houses the Fallen House of Winter's base of operations.
