The Vex stronghold on Venus.

Venus is the second planet from the sun and will be a location present in the Destiny universe, though its role is largely unknown at this time.

Due to its sulfuric yellow sky and violent lightning storms,[1] the surface of Venus has been jokingly compared to that of Yellowstone National Park.[2] During the Golden Age, Venus was once home to a human scientific research settlement that is now in ruins, swallowed by jungle and falling into the Venutian ocean.[1][3]

Venus is also home to a massive Vex stronghold, a looming tower of geometric shapes that they vigorously defend.[1][3]

Further features and traits of the planet, including particular areas on Venus, are unknown.

Inhabitants

Bungie has confirmed that there are "Combatants" on Venus.[4] The Vex are known to be present,[1][3] but it is unconfirmed at this time whether other combatants are as well.
