So...apparently the first week of January Bungie let everyone know that they should check in with the Postmaster to find a cool new legendary item. They tweeted about it saying that they'd send a small, legendary gift. When's the last time you checked in with the Postmaster?

Apparently this is Bungie's way of thanking gamers for their fantastic launch. I'm told everyone was speculating quite a bit about what the gift might be since all of the Christmas issues with Xbox Live and the PS Network ended up delaying the holiday present.
What Gift?[]
The gift, a Legendary item, was limited to just one for every account inside of Destiny. It would seem that what you got is completely random. People on Reddit were reporting a bunch of various weapons that were a nice upgrade, though many said they were less than what they already had since so many already have fancy exotic weapons these days.

So, when's the last time you got caught up with the Postmaster? What'd you get? Me, well...err...somehow I completely missed out on this when it was happening. Been busy writing guides that I meant to write last month and getting caught up in other games...terrible excuses, I know.
