Crimson Doubles was one of the new limited-time PvP gamemodes that was included in the week of Crimson Days (Feburary 9 - 15 2016), It's a version of doubles, except it's a Elimination type and when one of your teammates die, you get the buff called, Broken Heart, basically giving boost to many of your abilities, giving a simple crucible steriods in-game. What do I think about it? Well...

My thoughts about it:

I think Crimson doubles is FUN, not chaotic. The gamemode rewards wasn't all too bright (unless you're like me, getting Shader 1st game, the Crimson Shell in the 3rd Game, then the Crimson Crest in the 7th game (you can only get it when finishing Lord Shaxx special bounty)), people said that they weren't getting items that easily, and that bungie is making a fix that rewards players 320 Light Level shells after playing 7 games. But I'm not here to talk about that, I'm here to talk about why it's fun. Having Crimson Doubles as elimination is great because it make sure that the opponent revives last second before their temmate (who is the last one alive) is dead, and that it's not more than 2 people, because having a 6v6 Crimson game is pretty annoying. I also like that it had no matchmake, it makes the two people work and sync as a small team, and it shows that if you can sync with your partner easily, you're gonna win many games. The gamemode is very nice and I think Bungie did a good job on making this gamemode.
