The Undying Mind was a Vex Axis Mind that appears in the strike The Undying Mind. It returns as the main antagonist of the Season of the Undying in Destiny 2.

The Undying Mind appeared to reseal the Black Garden[1] and summon the Garden's heart back.[2]

The Undying Mind is similar to other Hydra except that it has three rotating shields. Its Torch Hammer projectiles cause Void damage despite their orange appearance.
