Titan is a moon of Saturn and a destination in Destiny 2. It is completely covered by a methane ocean with waves reaching as high as 40 meters.

History

Golden Age

As there is no land mass on Titan, Humanity built huge, Utopian structures over the ocean during their Golden Age.

The Red War

After Dominus Ghaul attacked The City, Zavala fled to Titan to recover from the defeat.

• When exploring Titan, players can notice several ships floating in the methane ocean. It is unknown what their purpose was, possibly to harvest methane or move people between the platforms.
• When looking out at the floating ships, players sometimes can see a leviathan like creature swimming in the waves, and in Savathûn's Song (Strike) as well as the story mission Utopia.
