  • The House of Ice Spears (although commonly called House Icicles or House of Ice by other races), translates to “cold” or “frozen” “water spear”. The symbol is a teal arrowhead shape made of multiple diamonds on a black background. The diamond shape representing spears and the teal color water, the black background serving to enhance the light that shines from the ice. Also, as Archon Raxis put it, “the better to hide in darkness.” Dregs, Vandals, and Captains sport the main diamond cluster (the point with the three diamonds inside) either on scarves and cloaks or painted on a chestpiece of black armor. Only those of a higher rank than Captain are allowed to wear the full teal spear symbol and to have it on their skin. Higher ranks often bear it on a full cloak or painted on the side of an arm or leg, although some have been noted to wear it on their foreheads or tattooed into their skin.

While it is rumored that the House of Ice Spears are descended from a handful of survivors from House Rain, little is known about the origins of this Fallen House as they prefer to go about their business and have as little contact as possible with other races. With the rise of Raxis to Archon Priest as well as the reordering of the House, this policy has gradually changed. House of Ice Spears believes in order for the Fallen civilization to rise again, the Traveler must also rise according to the prophecies made by House Rain, and as such the fates of both the Eliksni and the Last City are intertwined. As the Vex are the most technologically advanced, they frequently observe and study them as well as gather data and samples in the hopes that this will allow them to advance their own technology to the point of waking the Traveler, although some studies have led them to believe that to do so, they must bring the Traveler back in time to a point where the Darkness was less powerful if not nonexistent.

Unlike other known Houses, the Dregs are allowed keep their lower arms. When asked about this practice, the Archon Raxis replied, “All the better to fight with.” Also unusual is their use of a Sub-Kell who is the House's Second-in-Command and a Vice-Archon who alternates between the backup Servitors (the Space Servitor on the Kell's Ketch and the House Servitor in a lair just outside the walls of the Last City; the Prime Servitor remaining in care of Archon Raxis). Despite the appearance of solidarity and strength, the position of any leader is tenuous at best. The use of assassination to claim a leadership position is commonplace, especially among Captains. This is allowed and to an extent encouraged by the House's Kell as a way to weed out those weak and unworthy, however not at the expense of the success and future of the House. They are currently allied with Variks and House Judgment and the faction New Monarchy who they see as sharing the same vision of the future – a united and strong rise of their people. While they do not oppose the Guardians of the Last City or the Reef's Awoken, they will not lend their aid either (save for those allied with New Monarchy) unless doing so benefits the House. They consider their enemies to be the other Fallen Houses (save for House Judgment and those of House Wolves under the Queen's Awoken), the Cabal, the Hive, and especially the Taken. The Shedeyu (Thief Of Mine) Protocol commanded by the Kell is for the House's force to fall back and if necessary pull out in order to avoid casualties due to the Taken. Those who are being Taken are expected to sacrifice themselves for the good of the House, and those Taken are to be shot on sight. Although frequently fighting the Vex, they are not considered enemies, but rather a way of salvation for all Eliksni.

    [My character, an Archon Priest]

Archon Priest Raxis has blue center eyes and yellow side eyes with more of a lean and athletic appearance as opposed to a heavy brute. He wears a black hooded cloak with the House's emblem on the hood and three blue lines running from the symbol's bottom tip to the bottom of the cloak. Raxis prefers to crouch down behind cover to snipe enemies from a distance with New Monarchy's gift Antimony XVI, but will use his cloaking ability and dual shock blades to engage an enemy who's gotten too close to the Prime Servitor. Raxis dislikes space travel as he sees it as “too unpredictable” and prefers to fortify an easily defended location in order to protect the Prime Servitor as well as conduct research or experiments on Vex technology. Despite his feelings on space travel, Raxis has his own Ketch dubbed ShaKatadeh “Stolen Time” which he uses to raid Vex sites, and has used knowledge gleaned of the Vex as well as the power of the Prime Servitor to reprogram a few captured Vex to serve him, mainly by protecting the Prime Servitor, allowing him more time for is studies. Although working with the House's Kell and leaving most things to him, he is seen by many of the House as the true leader of his people and one who will bring the House of Ice Spears into the future. This makes him a dangerous Eliksni, to the Kell... While not at open war, many whispers say it is only a mater of time before civil war comes, and the House of Ice shatters.

[Just an idea I've been toying with...]

    • You... you can't be serious. You cannot be. You aren't, right? Are you seriously trying to promote this as your own original idea? This is a piss-poor ripoff of the House of Storms RP and the A Dying Flame RP.

To begin with, the name of the House is a ripoff from the Golden Age facility from House of Storms, called the Icicle Towers, known as the Frozen Spears or the Ice Spears to the titular Fallen House.

Your character is an Archon who is extremely devoted to the Prime of the House, bordering on zealotry. Along with him having reprogrammed Vex under his control, Raxis looks like a very close copy of Rhall, the antagonist of HoS.

The House's ethics, policies and history are a mash up of those of the Storms and the House of Flames. They're friendly to the City and the Reef yet only openly support them if it suits them, that's the Flames. They're a very old House hailing from the Whirlwind, Flames. Assassinations are the most common way to advance in rank, and is a behavior supported by the Kell, that's the Storms. They're incredibly secretive, Storms. They follow the House of Rain's prophecies very closely, Storms.

That's some of the stuff you copied. Now, I'd just like to point some other stuff out, which you didn't copy, but it's so mind-shatteringly lore-breaking that I cannot avoid it.

An alliance with the New Monarchy? That is so ridiculous I'm not even going to say anything else than that. It's ridiculous.

A lair just outside the City walls? Do you believe that a whole Titan order and the FOTC would miss a Fallen Lair just outside their patrolling routes?

So that's that. You're a copycat, and there really is no denying it.

    • Actually, I didn't know about the Icicle Towers. I'm not up to date on all the lore and stuff. I knew there was a House of Storms RP and a House of Flames RP cause I saw the names on the board, but not any of the background on it or anything. I was trying to come up with more of a story thing about an Archon Priest and thought him being Vex-obsessed (which I figured would mean he'd be playing around with Vex like Frankenstein and his monsters) and working with New Monarchy would be different. After playing around with a logo design, and since it ended up being a set of diamonds within diamonds grouped in a diamond shape (yes, I'm lacking in design skills), all I could think of was dripping water, spears, icicles, and teeth, aside from the obvious diamonds. Anyway, thanks for pointing all that out. Guess it's back to the drawing board...

      NOOOOOO!!!

"While it is rumored that the House of Ice Spears are descended from a handful of survivors from House Rain, little is known about the origins of this Fallen House as they prefer to go about their business and have as little contact as possible with other races."

Lol I was thinking of starting something with the same kind of backstory...
