Description

This template produces a weapon infobox. It will appear on the top right hand side of the article for the full site, and at the top of the article for the mobile site. It can be used for weapons in Destiny 2.
Do not include values for stats affected by mods or masterwork upgrades! (Perk values are fine.)

Note: This template can only be used for weapons in Destiny 2.

For weapons in Destiny, use Template:Infobox/D1Weapon.

Syntax

Field Descriptions

Field Data Sources Description
image In-Game & API An image of the weapon that is automatically scaled to 250 pixels wide. Please see Destiny Wiki:Image Policy before uploading images.
name In-Game & API Weapon name. Defaults to article name if none is provided.
type In-Game & API Weapon type.
slot In-Game & API Weapon slot. Defaults to standard slot for the weapon's type based on Destiny weapon categorization. Please refer to defaults in the code.
ammo In-Game & API The type of ammo this weapon requires. Either put "Primary", "Special", or "Heavy". Please refer to the defaults for this template.
class In-Game & API Player class this weapon is restricted to.
If there is no class restriction, set this field to "All".
rarity In-Game & API Weapon rarity. There are 5 rarities: Basic, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, and Exotic.
manufacturer In-Game The weapon's manufacturer. Some weapons display manufacturer banners in the top left of the screen while viewing them.
affiliation In-Game The faction to which the weapon belongs to, if any.
level In-Game & API Level requirement for the weapon. For weapons that can vary in level requirement, use the format min - max.
If there is no level requirement, leave this blank.
attack In-Game & API The weapon's default damage type and attack value set as a range using the format min - max. Do not add the damage type if it is a Kinetic weapon.
Use {{D2Arc}}, {{D2Solar}}, and {{D2Void}} for damage types.
speed API Weapon swing speed value, formatted as min - max. Note: Only applies to swords.
impact API Weapon's impact value, formatted as min - max.
accuracy API Weapon's accuracy value, formatted as min - max.
Note: Only applies to bows.
blastradius API Weapon's blast radius value, formatted as min - max.
Note: Only applies to rocket launchers and grenade launchers.
range API Weapon's range value, formatted as min - max.
velocity API Weapon's velocity, formatted as min - max.
Note: Only applies to rocket launchers and grenade launchers.
stability API Weapon's stability value, formatted as min - max.
handling API Weapon's handling speed value, formatted as min - max.
efficiency API Weapon's efficiency, formatted as min - max.
Note: Only applies to swords.
defense API Weapon's defense, formatted as min - max.
Note: Only applies to swords.
reload API Weapon's reload speed value, formatted as min - max.
rate In-Game & API Weapon's rate of fire in Rounds Per Minute, Charge Time (in milliseconds), or Draw Time (in milliseconds), formatted as min - max. Defaults to corresponding weapon type. E.g. "Charge Time" for fusion rifles and linear fusion rifles, "Draw Time" for bows, etc..
magazine In-Game & API Weapon's magazine capacity, formatted as min - max.
capacity In-Game & API The amount of ammo the weapon can carry in reserves, formatted as min - max. Defaults to corresponding weapon type. E.g. "Inventory Size" for bows and "Ammo Capacity" for swords.
Note: Only applies to swords and bows.
zoom API Weapon's zoom magnification value, formatted as min - max.
aim API Weapon's aim assistance value, formatted as min - max.
recoil API Weapon's recoil direction value, formatted as min - max. (Higher values mean that the direction of the recoil is more vertical.)
firemode In-Game & API Weapon's fire mode(s). Defaults to the standard fire mode based on weapon type. (E.g. Pulse Rifle = Burst.) Please use the most accurate fire mode for the weapon if it is not consistent with other weapons of the same type (i.e. sidearms with burst-fire, such as Dreg's Promise). Parameters for this field are "Single", "Burst", and "Automatic".
Note: "Automatic" is not the same as full-auto or rapid-fire.
quality API Weapon's quality value.
tier API Weapon's tier number.
icon API Weapon's icon.
stack In-Game API Weapon's maximum stack. (Usually 1.)
transfer API "Yes", "No", or "Unknown" as to whether this weapon can be transferred to the Vault.
action In-Game & API The default action for this weapon, which is usually "Dismantle". The action corresponds to the same input used to "Interact" with most in-game elements.
loot In-Game "Yes", "No", or "Unknown" as to whether this weapon has a chance, or is not fully guaranteed, to drop from various general activities.
collections In-Game "Yes" or "No" as to whether this item can be reclaimed from Collections. NOTE: This does not apply to weapons that are only viewable in Collections once unlocked.
vendor In-Game The vendor, if any, from whom the weapon can be purchased/obtained from. This includes rank-up reward packages from the vendor.
If there is no vendor, leave this field blank.
If there are multiple vendors, create new fields for each of them. E.g. vendor, vendor2, etc.
price In-Game The price, if any, of the weapon along with any other requirements such as rank or Guardian class.
If there is no vendor or price, leave this field blank.
If there are multiple vendors with different prices, create new fields for the prices each vendor is selling at. E.g. price, price2, etc.
itemhash API The item's InventoryItemDefinition hash. This value is used to look up available information about the item using the Destiny 2 API.
