Taken Hobgoblins are Hobgoblins have been corrupted by the Darkness and became a Taken, introduced in The Taken King. They behave identically to Thralls, but they are able to send forth Retaliation Swarm bolts when damaged instead of entering a stasis animation to heal annd defend itself.
