SUROS Regime is an exotic auto rifle. It can be purchased from Xûr for 23 strange coins when it is in stock. It can be obtained from completing the Weekly Nightfall Strike, Crucible matches, Vanguard ROC Strikes, chests inside the Vault of Glass, engrams, Crota's End, or from the Prison of Elders.

Upgrades

  • Field Choke: More range and Impact. Increased recoil.
    • Linear Compensator: More predictable recoil. Slight boost to range and Impact. More recoil.
    • Smart Drift Control: Predictable and controllable recoil. Penalty to range.
  • Focused Fire: When zoomed, this weapon fires slower, but causes additional damage.
  • Upgrade Damage: Increases Attack Power, allowing this weapon to cause more damage.
  • High Caliber Rounds: Oversize rounds built to stagger targets and leave them reeling. Their mass makes a weapon harder to handle.
    • Hammer Forged: Improved range and accuracy.
    • Lightweight: When held this weapon grants +2 character Agility.
  • Suros Regime: The bottom half of each magazine deals bonus damage and has a chance to return health when dealing damage.
  • Upgrade Damage: Increases Attack Power, allowing this weapon to cause more damage.

Trivia

  • This weapon was originally given the name "Arcus Regime" in a Destiny Drawing Board segment on Bungie.net.[1]
  • On December 1, 2014, the SUROS Regime received many changes. One changed the main perk, turning it into a Glass Half Full type of perk, but keeping the healing addition. The gun also has new firing sounds while aiming.[2]
  • On January 9, 2015, the SUROS Regime was announced as the most used weapon in the Crucible.[3]
