Quria was an Axis Mind who learned of the Sword Logic during the Vex's conflict with the Hive.

Biography[]

Savathûn would trick Crota into opening a portal where the Vex were abundant while Oryx was out communing with the Deep. The Vex would create Quria to understand the Sword Logic that was used as the Hive's philosophy. The Hive Deathsingers Ir Anûk and Ir Halak were leading the Hive in the stalemate with the Vex under Quria's command. Oryx was forced to return to his throne world, the High War, at the behest of the Worm God Eir and repelled the Vex invading it. Quria would lure Oryx into a trap when the Hive were in conflict with the Harmony, a species that lived in a singularity until the Traveler created the Gift Mast by stabilizing the singularity. Oryx was able to see through the trap and converted Quria into a Taken. He then proceeded to gift the Taken Axis Mind to Savathûn. Much later, while Savathûn was under the guise of Osiris, Quria created a Vex simulation on the Last City where Sol wouldn’t rise. The people would call this Vex simulation the Endless Night, and Ikora asked the Guardian to seek out Mithrax, Kell of the Eliksni House of Light. He would teach the Guardian to explore the Vex Network and gift them a Splicer Gauntlet to begin their mastery of splicing. They learn that Quria was the Axis Mind responsible for the Endless Night and began to locate it within the Vex Network. The Guardian confronts Quria once they had finished their mastery of splicing and destroys it, finally dispelling the Endless Night. The destruction of the Axis Mind would not stop the Future War Cult from instigating a coup, but it also allowed the House of Light to celebrate Solstice for the first time.
