Old Chicago was intended to be a region on Earth,[1] but it was cut from the final game.
History
By the year 2675, Chicago became a manufacturing hub for Exo under Clovis Bray for a very long time, But was consumed by The Collapse until Savathûn took control and destroyed most of the city. Months into a abandoned city, An Exo Stranger found the city into searching for Black armor vaults.
Trivia
Even though it was not included in Destiny or Destiny 2, Old Chicago is mentioned as being where the weapon Graviton Lance was found.[2] Old Chicago is also rumored by an Exo stranger and Ada-1 to hold at least 7 major Black Armory vaults.
