Not Forged In Light is a quest that rewards the exotic pulse rifle No Time to Explain. It is obtained by completing the Paradox alternate ending, then giving the Cult Ghost to Lakshmi-2.

Quest Steps

Step One

	Ready for War
	"Earn reputation through donations to the Future War Cult." Objectives: Obtain 1000 Future War Cult reputation This reputation may be earned through donation of resources. Rewards: Experience

Step Two

	Talk to Lakshmi-2
	"Speak to Lakshmi-2 in the Tower Hangar at the Tower."

Step Three

The Simulation Core

"Track down a powerful Taken Minotaur. Destroy it, then shatter the simulation core it leaves behind." Objectives: Defeat a Taken Minotaur Any major or ultra Taken Minotaur will do. They are often found on Venus and Mars during Taken Blight random events. The Simulation Core will be obtained automatically upon its death. Once it is obtained, it must be dismantled from the inventory screen. Rewards: Experience

Step Four

	Talk to Lakshmi-2
	"Speak to Lakshmi-2 in the Tower Hangar at the Tower."

Step Five

	The Eye of Atheon
	"Enter the Vault of Glass and destroy Atheon, Time's Conflux. Shatter the eye it leaves behind." Objectives: Defeat Atheon Kill Atheon, the final boss of the Vault of Glass raid. The Eye will be obtained automatically upon its death. Once it is obtained, it must be dismantled from the inventory screen. Rewards: Experience

	Talk to Lakshmi-2
	"Speak to Lakshmi-2 in the Tower Hangar at the Tower."

Step Seven

	Approach the Twilight Gap
	"Set course for the Twilight Gap on Earth." Objectives: Approach the Twilight Gap Start the mission Shadows at Twilight.

Step Eight

	Shadows at Twilight
	"Explore the Twilight Gap and survive the shadow that hangs above it." Objectives: The Shadow of Oryx debuff will cause the screen to slowly go black. There are cleansing pools that will reset the debuff. The Guardian must navigate around the map looking for a chest. Rewards: Experience

	"Speak to Lakshmi-2 in the Tower Hangar at the Tower."

Step Ten

	Approach the Black Garden
	"Set course for the Black Garden on Mars." Objectives: Approach the Black Garden Start the mission Blood in the Garden.

Step Eleven

	Blood in the Garden
	"Enter the Black Garden, draw out the Groundskeeper and destroy it." Objectives: Kill enemies rapidly to build up and maintain an "anger" meter, causing more and more enemies to appear and eventually The Groundskeeper, who must be killed. Rewards: Experience
