Nimbus, formerly Dara Danu is Neomuna's sole and current Cloud Strider. They took over the position from their former mentor, Rohan, when he sacrificed himself to destroy the Radial Mast.

Biography

Pre-Cloud Strider

Nimbus was known by the Human name of Dara Danu prior to the death of Rohan's mentor, Tramotane. Dara was selected to take up the mantle of Cloud Strider after undergoing the augmentations within the Sidereal and selected Nimbus as their Cloud Strider callsign.

Siege of Neomuna

Nimbus and Rohan would meet the Guardian after The Witness instructed Calus and his Shadow Legion forces to find the Veil. As the Guardian continue the mission to stop Calus from claiming the Veil, Nimbus would assist the Guardian and Osirisin the mastery over Strand. They would become the sole Cloud Strider after Rohan sacrificed himself to destroy the Radial Mast. They, along with Caiatl, Osiris, and the Guardian, would prepare for Calus to assault the Veil Containment facility with arming Neomuna's defense systems. Despite their defense, Calus was able to blast open the facility, forcing the Guardian. While exploring the Veil Containment facility, Nimbus explains that the Ishtar Collective technology within the facility was used as a CloudArk prototype. Nimbus later catches up with the Guardian as the Witness uses Ghost to create the link it needed to enter the Traveler's Pale Heart.

Despite the loss, the Guardian and Osiris would help Nimbus track down Rohan's notes after the memorial was conducted within the Hall of Heroes, in the attempt to learn more about the Veil and its connection with the portal. Rohan's notes lead into the Black Garden with Nimbus pressing on against Osiris's recommendation. Nimbus eventually concedes upon finding Rohan’s lost weapon and Osiris reminding them of their duty as a Cloud Strider. After recovering data from the Conceptual Mind, they learn that the Black Heart was an incomplete copy of the Veil constructed by the Sol Divisive. After the data was handed over to Nimbus, they would return to the Veil Containment facility and uncover the truth from audio logs left behind by Chioma Esi.

After recovering all of the data from the Veil Containment logs, Nimbus instructs the Guardian to assist Quinn Laghari in repairing Cloud Strider monuments damaged by the Vex during the Shadow Legion's siege of the city. They would repair the monuments of the past Cloud Striders including its first member Strider, who was keeping a submind of Soteria that escaped with the Exodus Indigo safe. The Guardian eventually learns from the submind that an enemy of the Witness, later revealed to be a proto-Worm named Ahsa, is hiding on Titan.

Nimbus eventually joins the Coalition forces in the final battle against the Witness and would drop off the Ishtar ordnance weapon.
