I'm stopping by to ask if you'd be interested in taking part in some of that video capturing. You can play with some of your friends, or even some members of Wikia Staff (a good amount of us play on PS4). You simply play through a particular event, record the footage, and send it to us!
It's your decision, If you're interested, just let me know. We won't have the list figured out until next week. I'll also be reaching out to some of the other major contributors here. Feel free to post some of your favorite moments in the blog as well. Thanks!
That's true. I'd say we'd probably find a way around having one person upload multiple parts, having you take the last 15 minutes and folks from Wikia Staff take the earlier parts of the mission. The video won't be too long (probably around 6-8 minutes with 4-5 moments) so we don't need every second of the mission.
My PSN name is SealedAspio, go ahead and add me now if you want and I'll keep you updated with any events. Thanks for the quick reply man : >
I was going over my gear earlier when I realised that, with the release of HoW, all of the Vanguard, Crucible and Faction gear had been replaced...
Though I won't have time to do absolutely everything before my vacation; if the staff have no objections, I have captured clean stills of all weapons from the vendors and will create pages for them tomorrow.
hmmm... I wonder if we should somehow tag those that were added in DLC I / II. With them all in the same locations we've been over before (aside from Reef, and similar), figuring out which ones have been missed might be frustrating.
The reef is open then? I know there was some update today, but I haven't managed to get online since. If the reef is open and Petra is giving quests, I say go for it. Update her picture while you're at it too.
So, I've got an image of Saviks but, so far, getting a profile shot of the bounty bosses has been very difficult...
Sometimes you have multiple people shooting them to get the kill, so they're knocked around every which way; alternatively even if it's just you, they barely stand still long enough to have their picture taken!
It might be much better to ask Bungie for a stock shot of them from Turntable when they were previewing them for release. I know a couple of staff who might be able to help out.
I've been taking videos when I run quests like that... which I can later try to find a decent frame of them. But you're right, when four people are wailing on a target with weapons, it's hard to get a nice shot.
Apparently DestinyDB has a list of other Ghost Shells - five more than the Generalist and Frontier people had at launch. One looks as though it would be something the Exo Stranger would have, whilst the rest appear to be from the Shipright, Vanguard, Crucible, and that arched door opposite the Speaker's Observatory we can't access yet...
It sounds as though some of these shells will be made available when House of Wolves launches.
Well, the Intrusion shell was known to be found in King's Watch, because people glitched their way into there. No doubt it'll be made available, once King's Watch opens during HoW. Hard to say how you will get the other ones.
There was a question during the twitch stream yesterday about shells, and one of the guys got very cagey. I believe more will be revealed in the coming weeks on that score.
While you are correct that information in our articles should be written in third-person, the perks listed on weapon and armor articles are direct quotes from the game, and direct quotes needn't be rewritten.
One would use direct quotes from the game if one wanted to be acurate and informative. While we may not be a game guide, most pages are not for giving our own opinions or paraphrasing. This is a data base for Destiny, after all.
Even if direct quotes from the game is used, it should be referenced so that it's made clear. I couldn't tell the content of the article was a direct quote from the game, so I changed the language to third-person.
