Kepler is a planetoid with the Oort Cloud, a region of the Sol System beyond the heliopause. It is where the Vanguard learned of the AION Initiative and uncovered the mysteries of The Nine. It is a destination in the Destiny 2 expansion The Edge of Fate. The planetoid is also home to a Nessian Schism presence and the House of Exile who were refugees from the Long Drift and had the Ether poisoned from dark matter exposure. Kepler is 1.7 light years away from the Sol System.
