Jackolyte is a consumable that creates a 3-eyed pumpkin over the head of a Guardian and plays spooky Halloween sounds. The effect lasts 30 minutes. It can be obtained randomly from Treasure of Ages.
Three Jackolytes were sent to every Guardian via Kadi 55-30 on October 28, 2014, during the week of Halloween. During the week, players could acquire more Jackolytes through loot drops from Hive enemies. Wearing the Jackolyte while talking with Xûr would allow the player to purchase Flight of Shadows for one Strange Coin.
During Festival of the Lost 2015, a Jackolyte could be obtained from a Gifts of the Lost or Legacy of the Lost mystery bag.
During Festival of the Lost 2016, a Jackolyte could be obtained from a Gifts of the Lost or Treasures of the Lost.
