Trivia[]
The Invective upgrade generates four shells every twenty seconds. The shells are delivered to the player's reserve ammo and the weapon must be reloaded to use them.
Although Invective is capable of fully automatic fire, it should be noted that it has heavy recoil, even by shotgun standards. Because of this, it is recommended to only go "full auto" when aiming at a large target and/or at point blank range.
On December 1, 2014, Invective received a buff that decreased the reload time from 5.75 seconds to 3.75 seconds at the cost of a reduction in the rate of fire.[3]
