Hand Cannons are a class of handheld, revolver-like primary weapons which deal hestupid this and a that and a bleh ble blecannons (such as the Mos Ganon III) have a large shroud surrounding the barrel, where as most others have an extended barrel with a normal pistol grip.
However, cannons such as the Hawkmoon abandon this design, taking a unique grip and mounting an old-fashioned iron barrel. The Thorn has a unique design with rigid edges and large thorn like bullets.

- In August of 2014, a buff was announced that would change magazine size of some hand cannons from 5 and 6 to 7 and 8 respectively.[1]
