Grenade Launchers are a class of weapon introduced in Destiny 2. This weapon type can exist in two different forms, the breech-loaded single round grenade launcher, which can exist in the kinetic or energy slots, or the drum-loaded multi-round magazine grenade launcher, which exist solely in the power weapons slot. Similarly to rocket launchers, this type of weapon fires a single, heavy-hitting projectile that deals moderate area-of-effect damage. Some grenade launchers can fire projectiles that inflict status effects on targets that are within its blast radius.
