A grenade is an ability in Destiny and Destiny 2. Grenades have a cooldown which can be reduced by the Discipline armor attribute.

Swarm Grenade Upon impact, splits into several smaller proximity grenades that can stay in mid-air, detonating when an enemy gets close. Gunslinger
Tripmine Grenade Sticks to surfaces and detonates when an enemy gets close. Emits a very noticeable red flash every couple seconds. Young Ahamkara's Spine increases the duration Tripmines are active and grants an additional charge. Gunslinger
Flux Grenade Can be stuck to an enemy for greater damage. Bladedancer
Skip Grenade Upon impact, splits into several smaller homing grenades that chase enemies. Shinobu's Vow increases the intensity and duration of the homing effect and grants an additional charge. Bladedancer
Arcbolt Grenade Upon detonation, deals damage that can chain to other enemies. Lucky Raspberry allows the grenade to chain further. Bladedancer, Stormcaller
Flashbang Grenade Upon detonation, deals damage, blinds enemies, and removes the HUD of enemy players. The effect is greater if the enemy is closer. Striker
Pulse Grenade Upon impact, deals area-of-effect damage over several pulses that are two seconds pulses. The Aftershocks Striker subclass perk increases the number of pulses. Striker, Stormcaller
Lightning Grenade Sticks to surfaces and emits a powerful lightning pulse every two seconds. The Aftershocks Striker subclass perk increases the number of pulses. Striker
Magnetic Grenade Detonates twice. Can be stuck to an enemy for greater damage. Defender
Spike Grenade Sticks to surfaces and emits a stream that continually damages enemies who enter it. Defender, Nightstalker
Suppressor Grenade Upon detonation, damages nearby enemies and temporarily prevents them from being able to use special abilities. Defender
Vortex Grenade Emits a large sphere that continually damages enemies who enter it. Voidwalker, Nighstalker
Scatter Grenade Upon impact, separates into smaller grenades that explode. Nothing Manacles enables tracking for the smaller grenades and adds an additional charge. Voidwalker
Axion Bolt Upon impact, generates a homing seeker that chases enemies. Voidfang Vestments adds a second seeker to the grenade. Voidwalker
Solar Grenade Upon impact, emits a large sphere that continually damages enemies who enter it. Sunbreakers increases the duration of the effect and adds an additional charge. Sunsinger
Firebolt Grenade Deals damage in an area. Sunsinger
Fusion Bolt Can be stuck to an enemy for greater damage. Sunbreaker, Sunsinger
Voidwall Grenade Upon impact, creates a perpendicular line that continually damages enemies who touch it. Nightstalker
Thermite Grenade Upon impact, creates a line in the direction the grenade was thrown that continually damages enemies who touch it. Sunbreaker
Storm Grenade Calls down a storm that damages enemies in the blast zone. The damage is greater the longer enemies stay in the blast zone and the closer they are to the center. Stormcaller
