Exodus Black is a crashed Colony Ship found on Nessus. The only survivor of its destruction is the AI, Failsafe.[1]

History[]
Exodus Black It was originally intended to travel to the Kepler-186 system and colonize a world there with the aid of files on SIVA and possibly a cache of it, but for unknown reasons the planetoid Nessus altered its orbit and caused the ship to crash-land on it. The surviving crew and colonists set up comms relays and attempted to send distress calls to Earth, but these were apparently never received. The survivors were soon slaughtered by the Vex, leaving Exodus Black's damaged AI, Failsafe, alone on Nessus for centuries.

Trivia[]
- The name and the logo of the Russian Federal Bureau of Aeronautics can be seen on parts of Exodus Black debris.
- There appears to be an exaggeration of how long the Exodus Black is. Colony ships seen at the Cosmodrome have the spherical structures right above the shuttle section seen in the Exodus Black location, whereas the spherical structures of the Exodus Black wreck are found separated a long distance away on the furthest side of the Glade of Echoes.
