Downloadable content (DLC) are additional content packages that can be downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Store.

Expansions

Destiny 1

• The Dark Below: Released on December 9, 2014.
• House of Wolves: Released on May 19, 2015.
• The Taken King: Released on September 15, 2015.
• Rise of Iron: Released on September 20, 2016.

Destiny 2

• Curse of Osiris: Coming Winter of 2017.
• Unnamed Expansion II: Coming Spring of 2018.

Bundles

• Destiny Expansion Pass: Includes both The Dark Below and House of Wolves.

Trivia

• "Comet" was the code name given to major expansion packs for games in the Destiny series in the Bungie-Activision Contract. According to the contract, each "Comet" would be available for download within twelve months of the preceding game's release, with one Comet being created per game, giving a total of four planned "Comets."
• Rise of Iron is the first expansion that will be exclusively available to current-generation consoles (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) and will be excluding last-generation consoles.
