Crucible Marks were a currency that can be used to purchase Crucible weapons, armor and resources from Crucible and faction vendors in the Tower.[1] Once a Guardian reached level 18, they would earn 6 Crucible Marks for each win and 4 Crucible Marks for each loss in the Crucible up to a maximum of 100 per week and an inventory cap of 200.[2] A Guardian would not earn any Crucible Marks for a match in which his final score was 0.

With the release of The Taken King, Crucible Marks were retired and replaced with Legendary Marks. Guardians' existing Crucible Marks were converted to Crucible Commendations at a rate of 50 Marks to 1 Commendation.[3]
