Black Hammer is a legendary sniper rifle. It can only be obtained as a random loot drop in the Crota's End raid. This weapon can be earned as an Exotic Version called Black Spindle.

	Crota's End
	This item can drop during the Crota's End Raid.

Black Hammer can also be upgraded with the following perks:

	Solar Damage
	This weapon causes Solar Damage.

	Ambush SLH25
	Agile, snappy scope. Handles beautifully. Rewards a skilled hand.

	TacSys SLS15
	Mid-zoom scope. Useful for unpredictable situations.

	Hawkeye SLR15
	Mid-zoom precision scope. Increased range and target acquisition. Heavy.

	White Nail
	Rapidly landing three precision shots will refill the magazine from your reserves.

	Upgrade Damage
	Increases Attack Power, allowing this weapon to cause more damage.

	Snapshot
	Aiming this weapon is incredibly fast.

	Flared Magwell
	Reload this weapon even faster.

	Perfect Balance
	This weapon has extremely low recoil.

	Mulligan
	Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine.

	Upgrade Damage
	Increases Attack Power, allowing this weapon to cause more damage.

	Hive Disruptor
	Increase damage to Hive Majors.

	Upgrade Damage
	Increases Attack Power, allowing this weapon to cause more damage.

	Upgrade Damage

Black Hammer previously held one of the following perks prior to a Destiny update:

	Ascend
	Increases the Attack value of this weapon to the highest available in Year 1.

This weapon was remade in Year 2 as the exotic sniper rifle Black Spindle.
The original Black Hammer was wielded by Crota. His sisters harassed him because the weapon simply removed existence, unlike the Spindle, which bound targets to alternate existences of endless torture.^[1]
