Black Armory is a downloadable content (DLC) expansion pack that was released on December 4th, 2018, shortly after the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken. The Black Armory is the first expansion in the Destiny 2 Annual Pass. It includes a new activity, raid, and many new weapons and armor to collect. The expansion was formally revealed in September 2018 as a part of the Destiny 2 Road Map.
Bungie later declared the DLC as seasonal content and put it in the DCV on the eve of Year 4: the Beyond Light.

Following the events of Forsaken, a newly-created Fallen terrorist organization, the Kell's Scourge, have stolen from the Black Armory and are using its technology to terrorize Earth and establish a foothold of power in The Last City.
