There are few weapons that Banshee-44 has not seen, and fewer still that he cannot fix.
― In-game description

Banshee-44 is the gunsmith in the Tower and sells weapons, ammo syntheses, and weapon telemetries. Once a Guardian reaches level 38, Banshee-44 will offer field test weapons, which refresh every week on Armsday.[1] Each field test weapon has a unique requirement, such as killing Cabal or achieving precision kills in the Crucible, that may be fulfilled while using the weapon.[1] Once the requirement is fulfilled, the Guardian will immediately gain Gunsmith reputation. The field test weapon can then be dismantled without penalty if the Guardian does not wish to keep it.

Once a Guardian reaches rank 1 in Gunsmith reputation, he or she will be able to order legendary weapons, which arrive and refresh each Armsday.[1] The number of simultaneous orders that can be placed is equal to the Guardian's gunsmith reputation (for example, a Guardian at rank 3 will be able to place three orders). Orders can only be placed Wednesday through Saturday.

Biography

Like all Exo, he was originally designed as a war machine.[citation needed] Following reactivation, Banshee-44 made his way to The City, setting up a shop selling weapons and ammo synthesis packs to Guardians.[citation needed]
