Aunor is a Warlock of the Praxic Order.

Biography[]

Aunor and the Praxic Order[]

Functioning as a leader to the Praxic Order, Aunor takes it upon herself to monitor lighbearers for any signs of dark influence or corruption. This mission often puts her at odds with lightbearers such as The Drifter, who have no true allegiance to either Light or Dark. It was during her spying attempts on the Drifter that one of his acquaintances, an unnamed Guardian came under close scrutiny.[1] Aunor sent encrypted messages to this Guardian in an attempt to turn them against the Drifter and to spy for her.

Over time, The Drifter became aware of Aunor's intentions, and attempted to expose her. The Drifter claims Aunor accidentally leveled a city block in a hostage rescue attempt.[2] While this was still an unverified claim, it was enough to bring Aunor herself under enough scrutiny that she was forced to abandon efforts in terms of garnering support for her crusade against the Drifter and potential Dark Guardians. However, The Praxic Order still operates, keeping tabs on Guardians in the case of any falling to the darkness.

Aunor's corruption[]

Despite her intentions being righteous, Aunor has had multiple people call her out for her corruption over the years. She has come under fire for having The Praxic Order function as spies rather than the passive Warlocks of old. While her monitoring comes across as hostile to those under her watch, Aunor still does not stray from her self-assigned purpose.[3]

Aunor and Tommy's Matchbook[]

Sometime after the death of Cayde-6, the city's hunters had mostly vacated their dens within the The Last City. Aunor, seeing this as an opportunity to gain information from what remained behind, began raiding Hunter Dens. While searching a particular den, She came into contact with a Hunter named Ghost and a ghost named Tommy. Fearing punishment, the Hunter offered a bribe: His Exotic auto rifle, Tommy's Matchbook. Accepting, Aunor left the den and went on her way.[4]

Personality[]

Enigmatic and legalistic, Aunor believes herself to be a great hero.
