I saw this while reading a Destiny 2 article on GameRant and I thought: Maybe the Fallen have given up finally and want our help. After all, they did have the Traveler on their planet, so why not share the powers with them? Where this theory came from: https://www.bungie.net/en/Grimoire/2/4611686018463202769/Allies/LegendsMysteries?_unlocked=False and https://gamerant.com/destiny-2-theory-fallen-allies/.
The card is Ghost Fragment: Fallen 6.
I found a pretty incriminating picture that kinda says the Traveler is a snail in a shell figureatively of course. This might just be speculation at this point, but i think the Traveler is suffering from PTSD and not really dead. They tell us that he is dead, but we know someone or something is siphoning power from the traveler and he is protecting himself. (I Think its the fallen, i`m too lazy to open up the article and check. But, im rambling here, so without further adou, the picture.[http:// http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/File:Destiny_Concept_Art_18b.jpg ]
My idea is to, instead of "harnessing the elements" in light, what if bungie actually used dark and light as light forms for subclasses? 2 brand new elements and new subclasses to corespond to it. since we dont have much lore on light, bungie could easily make more classes
probably a stupid idea, but im thinking (not in much detail):
Hunter:
Light: some people may diagree, but hunter really is the closesnt thing we have to a trickster, so for his light subclass, it could be focused on blinding enemies, his ult could be a huge flashbang of sorts in which he jumps up and blinds all enemies in range. his melee, to make it varied from others which already summon weapons or daggers, could be to instead of dealing damage, to use a sort of hook or rope made of light, fitting with the hunter theme, to reel the target towards them
Dark: Other than the nightstalker's snare and predator, we dont really have a subclass for any class who lays traps, so im thinking, for his grenades, they all stick to surfaces and wait for enemies, and for his ult, lay circular traps on the ground. if an enemy steps on them, they will be pulled down by hands (theoretically into the underworld) and instantly killed. for his melee, going on with the theme of the underworld, instead of the hunter actually attacking the enemy, hands could sprout out from the ground and, not really sure about this one, either attack them and deal damage, or have something alternate (similar to nightstalker's smoke) which holds them in place, not letting them move
Titan:
Light: titans are a form of destiny's "knights" so im thinking, what if we made them seem more like the medival age's knights. His ultimate would be to summon a ridable horse for a period of time to trample opponents. A mod could also make it leave a trail which damages enemies. for melee, again going with the knight, a summoned lance of sorts would be sufficient. grenades could be remakes of the classes we have now, just with light damage
Dark: for a dark type titan, his ultimate/special ability could be to summon a huge wall of rock from the ground, effectively sealing off areas a damaging enemies who come in contact with it. mods for it would make it last longer, allow you to instead cast multiple smaller walls which enemies can jump over, or increase/add damahe to the wall
Warlock:
Light: having no theme for a light warlock (comment below if you have a better one) this could focus on killing enemies from within. special could be a beam (or n number of beams) which, when hitting a target, causes them to fill up with light, then explode, dealing AoE damage to all of their alies around them, ignoring damage nullifiers such as the phlanx's shields or the titan defender's ward of dawn. as for melee and grenades, melee would cast an orb of light around you (not very far range), wich doesnt deal as much damage as others, such as blink strike, but can attack multiple enemies, due to it being AoE
Dark: 2 words: support necromancer. his ult would be to rise dead enemies from the ground to make them fight for the summoner. In PvE, they would have full health and damage (does not work on bosses), but when used on another gaurdian in PvP, they only have half as much health, use the primary weapon of the resurected person, and cannot use the dead gaurdian's abilities. For melee you could use darkness to lift an enemy up and choke them
Theyre probably all really bad, but comment on what you think of them. thanks
Not trying to be mean, as I do still think our Wiki is very good looking.
http://es.destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Destinypedia
However...if your comparing, it looks much cleaner and a lot like the Bungie Site. I'm not saying we should copy their look a bit...but we should.
Change the Space Background to a Destiny Star Map, Turn this grey color to that of the Bungie Site: Dark Blue, Black, and White/Gray for text. Update the Logo to look more simplistic.
Literally since the update on 9/8/16 there are people who have obtained the "Trespasser" exotic sidearm and Exotic boots (I saw Peregrine Greaves) at light-level 338. Do you think this is a botch on Bungies part or do you think they intentionally allowed this "leak" to players? Me personally, I believe its botch on their part because I know they typically drop raids days after DLC drops to give players a chance increase light-level prior to the raid. So I can't imagine them keeping the theme to drop the raid days after the DLC while giving players these items prior to the DLC's drop. Id love to hear thoughts about this or from anyone who has also received this gear (and more).
We've so far seen SIVA physically spreading through the environment, like the plague Bungie has played it as, but we've yet to see anything that actually suggests it truly is uncontrollable like a plague.
Until now!
Behold the SIVA Orge!!!
This is the first instance in which SIVA has shown characteristics that would suggest it is a plague. (not just something the Fallen have exploited and an environment tumor)
So, what are everyone's thoughts on this development?
Okay, so ive been seeing alot of theories floatng around on what race is doing what? is the travler evil? why is the speaker not speak so much? who is Xur and why does he only come on the weekends? ect...
So im going to simply project a couple theories here and you readers can input your say in and we can see what theory comes out the strongest.
Theory 1: Is the Traveler Evil?
Okay, so bare with me because this simple question can branch out into so many diffrent definitions.
As stated on a plathera of pages, the traveler was once at he hands of The Fallen, giving them what seemed like a "Golden Age" until it disprese, possiably because it was being chased by Th Darkeness, maybe because it thought it was time to move on. And when doing so, left The Fallen to the grasp o the darkness. But maybe, the Traveler IS the Darkness, and its gift is also its curse. Reason being is because it build species up, almost like cows in a slaughter house, only to feed off their death, destruction...darkness. In which like any entity ithas followers, and enemies, in this case a major enemy of th travler would be the ones tht got effected (The Fallen) who now seek to destroy the travler. So lets just establish for a quick moment that Fallen are after the Travler, so who are the Cabal? Well like i mentioned those folloers of the aftermath of The Travelers "gifts" need to be cleaned up somehow, ths clean dirty clean up crew of the dead is known as none other than Orynx and his clean upcrew The Hive, along with the Travellers personal guard, The Taken. Which when linking them together seeing that they are basically the signs of death, would make sense why nobody like seeing them alive. Now the Cabal have been dearly noted for strongly despising The Hive and anything it touches, which makes the species the relentless exterminators. And while The Fallen want The Taveler and its followers to die so that hey can obtain its power, the Cabal will just charge through anything and destory the source, even though it never effected the directly. So now we have The Fallen doing anything it takes torepair their broken civilization, the Cabal running through it all to destroy The Hive, and The Hive trying to protect their darkness, so where do the we as Guardians come in? Well, The Fallen are trying to make it to The Travler, which is located right above the last city, where th Cabal ar heading straight to the source. While s Guardians ar fooled into thinking that we are defending our "savior" in eality we are their hitman/demolition crew. So......who are the Vex??This is simple, they are the overwatch, the "creators", the "gods" who have been around longer than The Traveler, and probably created it which is why at some point we cansee them doing weird rituals to "The Darkness". Which is why now seeing that the whole universe is going to shit they must step in and midigate it all. Which is why they just shoot veryone on sight. Much like the mentality of a Guardian.
Theory 2: The Darkness is a virus
Athough the whole "youve been working for the bad guy" twist would still shock everyone till this day even though its the most tought out theory. The even bigger twist would be....if it wasnt what we thought t might have been. I know right? crazy. So Let back track, Light and Darkness....constant battle...yada yada...So, we have The Travler, a nomadic being, good in nature that strives to expand the knowledge of all universal beings and all good things, it was created to fight the Darkness, and when its all done, basically armoring up the universe with the power of good intetions and light. It leaves on it merry way. Then The Darkness comes, now either with the Fallen, they were greedy and wanted all the travlers power, so the traveler found them not worthy and blasted off leavnig them to fend for themselves or maybe the travler was truley all done and left, leaving the darkness to destroy the fallen and now the fallen are all anal about it. Whatever the case, now its on Earth bringing The Fallen, and the whole "Golden Age" happened but then the Darkness caught up. So lets not fool ourselves to see the obvious, the Taken...obvious disciples. The hive ae just kind of the followers looking to become The Taken, and the Cabal are exterminators, while the vex are actually the creators of he Darkness. But the darkness was too strong for them to handle so now they fight all the darkness and light hs touched.
Activision recently released some new press material for Rise of Iron, and with it some rather interesting screenshots. I'll let them speak for themselves.

The Cosmodrome has been winterised!
So, what are everyone's theories on this?
I'm thinking the Cosmodrome will stay as is, but the areas screenshotted above will form part of the new Plaguelands zone. Or perhaps are just limited to Story Missions, Strikes, and maybe even the Raid.
Hi everyone, I need a small favour from someone who doesn't own The Taken King.
Check if you can access the Eververse Trading Company vendor. If you are able to, then pan the cursor over the some mystery bag, and emote stock, checking to see if it mentions The Taken King expansion being required.
Thanks in advance.
This is also posted in Discussions.
I honestly think that for lords of iron, bungie is going to have to include new subclasses to keep the game fresh. since we already have the 3 light type subclasses (arc, void and sol), and since the new expansion is meant to be "large and full of lore" dont you guys think they coud somehow find a way to incorporate new forms of light.
My idea is to, instead of "harnessing the elements" in light, what if bungie actually used dark and light as light forms for subclasses? 2 brand new elements and new subclasses to corespond to it. since we dont have much lore on light, bungie could easily make more classes

Oryx... he is know as the king-god of the hive but exactly who is the "father of crota?" and before you say it yes they say oryx is the father of crota but not the exact father because according to this destinypedia.com/Oryx,_the_Taken_King it states that oryx is "formerly female" so that means oryx is the "mother of crota" but there is no way oryx breeded crota by himself because if he did then crota wouldn't have the green glow on him instead he would have wings and he would be like thalnok only in a solid hive form just like oryx so it is mine to believe that oryx adopted crota or he simply created him as his son and used the darkness to formerly create crota then oryx took him as his son so to wrap this theory up crota is not the former son of oryx and crota has no father, just a mother.
So, I want to get me some Armsday weapons, but I can't. For some reason, on both my Hunter and Warlock, his puchases do not appaear. I can't even see what weapons he has for sale. Is this a glitch? And if so, how can I fix.
By the way, I'm Rank 5 on my Warlock and Rank 1 on my Hunter.
What are your thoughts on the following Grimoire Card excerpts?
Earth
The blaze sits inside a nest of little worlds, still too distant to share its heat but plainly staring out at you. A face emerges, drawn from plasmas and radiation...
There must be meanings in its roar.
You listen hard and carefully, and sometimes a lucid melody seems to rise out of random noise. Joy builds, and the first hope in ages transforms you.
It seems important, even critical, to tell every star from here to the black between the galaxies that you will be strong again.
Saturn
A cold giant shows its night face to you. Distant moons slide past - icy little comets enslaved by a splendid master.
The lightning bolts and high clouds sweep away, and you burrow into a sea of liquid hydrogen that boils out of the long gash.
You put yourself on the perfect trajectory, and for a fraction of an instant you allow yourself the luxury of confidence.
Jupiter
Even the largest body lets itself be pushed where it needs to be, seduced into nice, warm loving orbits. Persistence is the key.
Seafloors transform and then yank themselves skyward, shattering the icy crust. New worlds awaken in the swirling depths.
You build homes around this half-born sun ripped by storms and supersonic wind.
Mercury
One face is blistered, the other plunged into a brutal chill. Is this how it's always been?
You remember hot oceans, nourishing atmosphere. But something transpired, kicked what was wet and fertile into space, stealing away everything of value. Or perhaps what thrived here for a day or for ten million years decided to leave, peeling its wet organics off the bones.
Venus
You see history hidden between the barren rocks and within the high acid clouds. You see the ruin ready to claim its birthright.
Sunlight starves. The fierceness chills and thins and runs sweet. A new ocean emerges, thick and salty and hot, from springs and geysers that drench the dead ground.
You wonder: will this world's second birth be its finest?
Mars
Life waits inside this world's bones.
Your voice flows across the red rock and through the dead valleys, speaking in code and goads.
Ancient volcanoes swell, exploding at their peaks and splitting wide along their shoulders. Ash clouds blacken the starved air. A fossil ocean of ice softens and collapses. Geysers erupt, tall as mountains, throwing up steam and clouds.
Every moment matters. And from a great distance, in the midst of a thousand careful disasters, you watch the transformation with your own eyes.
The rose has blossomed.
Earth's Moon
The best voices - voices that truly matter - never allow themselves be heard. This lesson is worth learning again and again.
Forever.
Your voice moves as a whisper, murmuring inside larger winds. Only the trusted few can absorb what is necessary. Wise and sly and perfect, your instructions drop, leaving nothing but the hard sweet rime of enlightenment. The path is set. Your voice is unleashed.
Darkness
The universe is a beast.
The body is made from tiny stuff, from near-nothings. From atoms swimming through a blood of crackling sparks. Simple, eternal Laws shape the beast. The largest galaxy is ruled by principles of mass and motion. Electrons are slaves to charge and to chance. And this is why the universe feels inexhaustible, eternal.
No sun complains about its death. Life is the problem. Life can be woven from flesh or circuit or thoughtful light. Origins don't matter. But small, half-smart creatures have a fierce talent for denying the inevitable, for balking and complaining about injustices that don't exist and consequences that should be borne in silence.
The Traveler
You have lived as invisibly as possible, flicking from solar system to solar system, making grand plans, overseeing the culturing of civilizations, before leaving in a blink. But you have no recollection of ever wanting worship or even thanks from those blessed by you.
But memory is heavy now.
It feels like lead and neutronium and electroweak matter fashioned into a moon-sized ball that you must carry as you move.
Now, your flight is rapid, your vast mind infected with such dread and toxic doubt that you find yourself afraid of the simple act of thought.
And it is your children you must turn to now, in time of need.
The Traveler 2
This has been such a long chase. This will be the place you will fight. Fight and win.
But do you really know why you go where you go, and where this journey is taking you?
The chase leads you where you need to be, you believe.
Unless...you are being pushed.
The Traveler 3
The knife had a million blades.
And you were giant, powerful and swift. But the knife pinned you. Cut your godly flesh away.
Very little was left, you are sure, because you feel insignificant now. The hard slick heart of your soul: That is what remains. A body small as a river stone, and just as simple. You picture yourself as a piece of indigestible grit, a nameless nothing hiding among other nameless stones. Perhaps you glitter like a gem, yes. Pride makes you hope so. If only you could see yourself. But you have no eyes. Not the dimmest sense survives. What lives is memory, and what slim portion of these thoughts can you trust?
The knife stole much more than your body.
"Before we meet, there are some stipulations you must abide by... You aren't afraid of the night time are you?" Before the Collapse, there was some of the greatest gunsmiths in the galaxy. The aftermath would see these gunsmiths gone and their weapons legends. Now, the gunsmiths legends live on again, but through weapon manufacturers of today. One of those being Omolon, a manufacturer based on Advances and Technology. When Guardians started to come back with the Khvostov 7G-02, Omolon knew that they could bring it back to the future of warfare. With their experts on the job and the newest advancements in warfare at their fingertips, they created something new. It is now known as "Midnight Persuasions". im thinking of getting Destiny but i have a question about the MP can you unlock the legendary and exotic guns on MP or do you need to do the single player to unlock good weapons and armor
The overpowered gun needs a new description, here's my take:
The Red Death had long devastated the crucible. No pulse rifle had ever been so fatal, or so hideous. Blood was its Avatar and its seal --the redness and the horror of blood. There were sharp pains, and sudden dizziness, and then profuse bleeding in the skull.
- Ikora Rey after a day in the Crucible
