I completely disagree with you.
Everyone bitches about Titan melee having no lunge but I found there to be a decent lunge on the melee as I was playing as a Striker in PvP. When I played as Sunbreaker, the melee was very good. Causing all shots to deal precision damage is very difficult to counter. In addition, their melee is the fastest- you're going to win most melee fights if you choose. As I main a Warlock, Fusion Grenades are only bad if you don't know what to do with them. They're an instakill if you can stick it, even with an overshield on occasion. Though I agree with the remark about the Thermite Grenade, the Incendiary compensates for it greatly. That's why the Titan is so good- they can kill you quickly or in one shot so many ways, it becomes very irritating. And, the part about the melee and grenade balancing out how OP the super is? I would give up grenades and special melees on my Warlock for a super that powerful. It's ridiculous. And the fact that they gain, essentially, invincibility? Nuh uh. They need a nerf.
(I strongly agree with you, not once have I ever killed a Sunbreaker while he was in his super, even when I was using Stormtrance. They have a metric shit ton of toughness on top of being able to acquire an overshield by standing inside of a sunspot. I have had moments in skirmish where my entire team including me all attack the Sunbreaker with our heavy weapons; but he merely shrugged it off by throwing his hammer at the ground thusly acquiring an overshield. In the end everybody was killed by his hammers.
And enough with the "If you use these perks your not using the other perks" card, whats broken is broken and not having a certain perk isn't a big enough of a de-buff especially when you gain some sort of buff.
Lastly, if you try to outrun a Sunbreaker you will have to break line of sight to avoid getting slaughtered as their hammers can either home in, or they can gain additional hammers and just spam them in your general direction with just how much blast radius they have; breaking line of sight will render them unable to strike your with their Stength 10 AP 1 tachyon arrows. However, even still you'd have to continuously break line of sight to avoid getting killed.
Oh, boy I can't wait to get destroyed in Trials of Osiris by some twelve year old wielding a Sunbreaker.)
