It's the second column of upgrades for the Titan abilities, on either the Striker or Defender subclass.

Lift: Jump and then press jump again while in the air to activate Lift.

It has three upgrades to it, for both subclasses:

• Increased Height: Upgrades Lift to travel to greater heights.
• Increased Control: Upgrades Lift for better directional control while in the air.
• Catapult: Upgrades Lift to provide a strong initial burst of momentum.

Something that isn't detailed is, with the Titan, you can cancel Lift if you only want to travel a certain distance. Just press jump a third time to abort the Lift and drop down at your current location. For example, if you only want to jump up on a ledge that's higher than your basic jump will go, press jump once to jump, a second time to activate Lift, then when you're high enough to get on the ledge, press jump a third time to abort the rest of the Lift. It's useful for getting into a door or window that's above you, without bonking your noggin on the top of the opening, causing you to fall back down.

You can't give items to other players. Trading does not exist in Destiny.

You have an enhanced jump ability. If you haven't already, go into your Striker class menu and make sure that the ability is active. If it is, then the circle that represents it will be blue with a white picture inside. If it is not, then the circle will be an outline in green with a white picture inside.
